Privacy Policy
This policy explains the information used by PlayTangram.online and the choices available when you play. The game does not require an account, payment, or personal profile. Puzzle progress is kept in your browser rather than a central player database. Ordinary website hosting and any email you choose to send involve separate kinds of information, described below. This page reflects the features included in the current website; it should be reviewed whenever the operator adds a service that changes those practices.
Information stored in your browser
The game uses localStorage to remember completed puzzle identifiers, the last active puzzle, selected difficulty, piece positions, sound preference, and hint use. Gameplay data uses the versioned key playtangram:v1. These values help restore an unfinished board and show completion badges when you return. They do not form an online account, and the game does not send them to a progress synchronization service.
Your display preference is saved separately under playtangram:theme. Light mode is the default until you choose dark mode with the theme switch. Saving that choice lets the site display your preferred palette on a later visit in the same browser. Fullscreen is a temporary browser or page state, rather than a separate personal profile. The website does not need your identity to apply either display option.
Browser storage belongs to the particular browser and device you use. Another browser, private window, or device may start with different or empty progress. Clearing this website’s stored data removes its saved boards, completion history, and preferences. If storage is unavailable or denied, the game can still run, but it may be unable to retain your changes after a refresh. There is no account recovery process for locally erased progress.
Accounts, cookies, and tracking
The current project includes no signup system, advertising scripts, analytics integration, or remote game API. It does not set gameplay cookies or request access to your camera, microphone, or location. Puzzle movement and completion checking happen in the browser after the application loads. The website uses local assets and system fonts, so it does not require a separate remote font provider to display the interface.
These statements describe the application as supplied. They do not mean that ordinary web requests are anonymous to every part of the internet or hosting infrastructure. If the operator later introduces analytics, advertising, embedded services, or another integration that processes visitor information, the published policy should explain that change and any relevant settings. No such optional tracking integration is included in the current version.
Website hosting and request logs
Opening a page sends a request to the server hosting this website. Depending on the hosting and proxy configuration, ordinary logs may include an IP address, requested path, time of access, browser information, and technical response details. Such logs can help diagnose broken requests or maintain service availability. Their exact collection and retention depend on the operator’s deployment settings and hosting provider.
This application does not establish a fixed retention period for infrastructure logs or provide a visitor dashboard for viewing them. The operator should review the actual server configuration and provider practices. Questions about hosting-related information can be sent to Contact@playtangram.online. Avoid including passwords or other sensitive information when describing a technical concern; a page address and approximate time are usually more useful starting details.
Contact emails and voluntary information
If you email Contact@playtangram.online, your email provider and the receiving email service process the message through their normal systems. Your message may contain your address, display name, question, and any attachments you choose to send. Contact information is supplied so you can ask about the website; the game itself does not require an email or upload to continue playing.
Share only information relevant to your request. For a puzzle problem, the level name, browser, device type, and a description of the unexpected behavior are often enough. Check screenshots before sending them so they do not reveal unrelated tabs, notifications, or personal details. This site does not promise a specific email retention period or response time. You can ask the operator about information you previously provided in a message.
External links and the Google Play listing
The footer links to a Google Play listing for Tangram by Magma Mobile. That is an external app listing operated through Google Play, rather than an account or download required by this website. Following the link sends you to that service, where its own privacy practices, app information, availability, and any installation choices apply. The website does not receive your Google account credentials through this link.
You can continue using the browser game without opening or installing the linked app. Other external destinations, if added to editorial content later, would likewise have their own practices. Review the destination before providing information or granting permissions. The presence of a link should not be read as a promise that another provider follows this website’s local-storage approach.
Your choices and further questions
You can switch palettes, mute optional sound, avoid external links, and clear this site’s localStorage through browser settings. On a shared device, saved badges may reflect another person’s play, so treat the history as a convenience rather than a private record. Children can use gameplay without submitting identifying information; adults can help younger players understand external navigation and email choices. For questions, visit Contact or email Contact@playtangram.online.
