Contact
For questions, feedback, or problems with PlayTangram.online, email Contact@playtangram.online. You can ask about a puzzle, describe a control that is not behaving as expected, suggest an improvement, or point out something unclear in a guide. You do not need an account to contact us or continue playing. Please include enough detail to explain the issue while leaving out passwords, payment information, and unrelated personal details.
Help us understand a puzzle problem
Start with the puzzle name or identifier shown in the game. Mention whether you were playing an Easy, Medium, or Hard level and describe the action just before the problem appeared. For example, explain whether you dragged a triangle, rotated the square, flipped the parallelogram, requested a hint, or returned to a saved board. A concrete sequence is easier to investigate than a general statement that a shape does not work.
Describe what you expected and what actually happened. If a piece seemed to jump, say where you grabbed it and whether the board had just resized. If the completion message did not appear, explain which parts looked correct and whether you could see a gap or overlap. You do not need to diagnose the geometry yourself. An accurate observation, including uncertainty, is useful feedback.
Browser and device details
Tell us whether you were using a computer, phone, or tablet, along with the browser name if you know it. Indicate whether you used a mouse, trackpad, touchscreen, or keyboard. The approximate screen size or orientation can help with a layout problem, especially if you changed from portrait to landscape or zoomed the page before noticing it.
For a display issue, mention the selected theme and whether fullscreen was active. Native fullscreen support varies between browsers; some devices use the website’s expanded in-page fallback. If the problem appeared only after entering or leaving that view, include that detail. You do not need to send a device serial number, exact location, or any other identifying information to describe the situation.
Screenshots and useful examples
A screenshot can make an unexpected fit or clipped control easier to understand. Include the relevant board area and, when possible, the puzzle name. Before sending it, check for personal information in browser tabs, notifications, bookmarks, or other applications. Cropping to the part that explains the issue is usually enough. Images are optional; a clear written description is also welcome.
If the issue repeats, describe a short sequence of actions that reproduces it. For instance, you might open a named level, rotate a piece twice, drag it near a corner, and then press Undo. If it happened only once, say so rather than trying to make the explanation sound more certain. We do not promise a particular response time or a fix for every browser combination.
Questions about controls and completion
Before writing, you may find an immediate answer in how to play Tangram online. A click or tap selects a piece without rotating it. The visible rotation buttons turn in 45-degree steps, and only the parallelogram needs the separate Flip control. The selected-piece menu can help when another shape is covering the piece you want to move.
A completed solution uses all seven pieces and covers the target without gaps, overhang, or overlap. Gentle snapping helps near known placements, but an almost-correct picture can still contain a real mismatch. If you are stuck, try the Hint feature or read the solutions and strategy guide. You are welcome to ask about a suspicious result after checking those basics; they are suggestions for faster help, not conditions for contacting us.
Saved progress, sound, and display preferences
Progress belongs to the current browser and device. Clearing website storage, switching browsers, or opening a private session may produce an empty history. There is no central player account from which an erased board can be restored. If saved progress behaves unexpectedly, tell us whether it survived a refresh and whether you recently changed browser storage settings. Avoid sending a full export of unrelated browser data.
Optional sound starts muted, and a browser may require an interaction before audio can play. The theme switch remembers dark or light mode when storage is permitted. If either preference fails to persist, mention whether normal puzzle progress is also being lost. Our privacy policy explains the local-storage keys and the distinction between browser progress, hosting requests, and messages you voluntarily send.
Suggestions, content corrections, and accessibility
Ideas for clearer instructions, more useful puzzle browsing, and comfortable controls are welcome. Explain the task you wanted to complete and where the current experience got in the way. For an accessibility concern, describe the control, page, or text involved and the input method or assistive technology you were using, if you are comfortable sharing that information. Specific examples help make a suggestion actionable.
You can also report an inaccurate sentence or confusing diagram by naming the guide and quoting a short relevant phrase.
